REAL CUSTOMERS, REAL EXPERIENCES
I enjoyed building this 3-D wooden model of a European 19th century steam locomotive. I wish someone made one like this of an American locomotive, but this makes a very nice display. The miniature plywood parts are sturdy and usually easy to remove from the precision laser cut sheets. The instructions are good, easy to follow pictures and most of the parts are laser imprinted with the part numbers.
A total of maybe 5-6 hours to complete (done in three days, so about 2 hours a day). The instructions were clear, the packaging was good, and I enjoyed that it came with a few extra parts of the fragile pieces. We did use a pack of handy tweezers to take out some parts, it helped with the fragile pieces. Overall we enjoyed building it and the end result is super cool!
I am a fan of wooden puzzles. This was nicely designed; accurate cutting parts; clear instructions to follow; much easier to assemble than Ugears; no extra tools were needed during the assembling process; extra pieces were provided for those easy broken parts.
